Frequently asked questions
Can I merge files of different formats?
Yes. An MP3, a WAV and an M4A can be joined in one go; they are all decoded and resampled to a common 44.1 kHz stereo before being written in the format you choose.
Is there a gap between the tracks?
No. The files are concatenated sample by sample. If you want a pause, add a short silent file between them.
Is merging private?
Yes. The join happens entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.
